1. Who we are and what this covers
These terms are an agreement between you and [to be completed: operator.legalName], [to be completed: operator.address] ("LaunchFaro", "we", "us"). They cover the website at the address you are reading this on, the dashboard, and the directory-submission service (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service for a company or a client, you confirm you can bind that company or have the client's authority.
The Service is for business and professional use. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms removes rights that the law gives you and that cannot be waived.
2. What the Service does
For a product you own or are authorised to promote, the Service:
- builds a campaign from a short product profile and the description variants you approve;
- includes only directories whose catalog record is marked free and carries a dated quotation from the directory's own page as evidence;
- submits a listing without you only where a directory has a documented interface or a recorded permission for that kind of submission, and otherwise prepares a ready-to-paste pack for you to send yourself;
- hands every captcha, challenge, login you must do yourself or other step that needs a person to you through a task list;
- fetches each live listing and counts it as a backlink only when the page loads and links to your product, and re-checks published listings from time to time.
Which directories can be run without you changes over time. The dashboard shows, for each directory, whether it will be submitted for you or prepared for you.
3. What the Service does not promise
We do not promise that any directory will accept, publish or keep your listing, that a listing will carry a followed link, that a link will help your ranking in any search engine, or that you will get traffic, sign-ups or sales. Each directory decides on its own. A listing is described as published only after we have fetched the live page and found the link.
Figures such as a directory's domain rating come from an owner-supplied list or a named source, are shown with that source, and are not a measure of the value of a listing.
4. Your account
You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in method secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at [to be completed: operator.securityEmail] if you think it has been accessed without your permission. One person may not share an account across unrelated businesses; agencies manage each client product inside their own account.
5. Your products and your authority
You promise that:
- every product you add is your own, or you have the owner's written permission to list it, and you can show that permission if we or a directory ask;
- the information you provide about it is accurate and not misleading;
- you will follow the Acceptable Use Policy.
We run each campaign on your instruction and on your behalf. You, not we, are the person the directory deals with, so you are responsible for complying with each directory's own terms for what you submit.
6. Directories are third parties
Directories are independent sites with their own terms, review processes and fees. We do not control them, are not their agents and do not guarantee their availability or conduct. We only submit to directories that list for free. If a directory changes its terms, asks us to stop, or we find that an automated submission is not allowed, we stop it for everyone and move the task to a manual one. We never solve captchas, bypass anti-bot measures, create false identities or post false reviews, and we will not do so at your request.
7. Plans, prices and tax
Plans and their limits are shown on the pricing page. A plan with no price shown cannot be bought. Prices are shown before you pay and are charged in the currency shown. Payments are taken by our merchant of record, who sells the Service to you, collects and remits sales tax or VAT where it applies, and issues your receipt. Its own terms apply to the payment. Our Refund and Cancellation Policy explains cancellation and refunds.
We may change prices for future periods. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change takes effect for you, and you may cancel before it does.
8. Your content and our licence to use it
You keep everything you provide (product names, descriptions, logos, contact details). You give us a limited licence to store, copy, adapt for formatting and send it to the directories you choose, and to show it to you, for the sole purpose of providing the Service. We do not use it to train models and do not sell it.
9. Our rights
The Service, its software, the directory catalog, the evidence we collect and its presentation belong to us or our licensors. You may use them to run your own campaigns. You may not copy the catalog to build a competing product, resell access, or scrape the Service.
10. Personal data
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Where we process personal data for you as your processor, the Data Processing Addendum applies on request.
11. Availability and changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation, and we do not offer a service-level agreement unless one is agreed in writing. We may change, add or remove features. If we remove a feature you pay for in a way that matters, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel and receive a refund for the unused period.
12. Suspension and ending
You can stop at any time by cancelling and deleting your account. We may suspend or end your access, immediately where there is a serious risk, if you break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if a directory or a rights holder credibly shows a submission was not authorised, or if the law requires it. Where we can, we tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem first. When your account ends we delete your data as set out in the Privacy Policy, and you can export it before.
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that the Service is error free, that every directory behaves as described on the day you run a campaign, or that results will be achieved.
14. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, or for anything a directory does or fails to do. Our total liability to you for all claims about the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in that period. [Limits and caps are for the lawyer to confirm for each jurisdiction.]
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For a change that matters to you we give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the dashboard before it applies, and keep every earlier version on the legal pages. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change applies.
16. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of [to be completed: operator.governingLaw], and the courts of [to be completed: operator.disputeVenue] have jurisdiction, without removing any mandatory consumer protection that applies where you live.
17. Contact
Write to [to be completed: operator.legalName], [to be completed: operator.address], or [to be completed: operator.legalEmail]. For privacy questions use [to be completed: operator.privacyEmail]; for abuse reports see Abuse and Takedown.
