1. Reporting misuse
If you think someone is using LaunchFaro to submit a product they do not own, to deceive people, or to break a directory's rules, write to [to be completed: operator.abuseEmail] with the product or listing address, what is wrong and any evidence. We reply within 2 business days, and we remove a product from our service when the report is substantiated. See the Acceptable Use Policy.
2. For directory operators: asking us to stop
If you run a directory and do not want us to submit to your site, tell us. You do not need to prove anything beyond reasonable identity.
How: write to [to be completed: operator.abuseEmail] from an address on your directory's domain (or tell us where on your site a contact address is published), naming the directory's domain. You may say whether you want us to stop automated submissions only, or every kind of help we give customers for your site, including preparing packs.
What we do: within 2 business days of a request that we can match to your site we:
- switch on the per-directory stop for your domain, so that no campaign for any customer submits to you automatically, and so that queued and future tasks for your directory are not run;
- mark your directory in our catalog as unavailable for new campaigns, so it is not offered to customers;
- tell the customers with campaigns that include your directory that it has been stopped at the directory's request;
- confirm to you in writing what we did and when.
What we cannot do: a customer can still visit your site and submit in their own browser, as anyone can. We cannot remove a listing you already published; that is your site. If you want a listing removed, tell the customer or contact us and we will pass it on.
If you think our service has been submitting to you in a way your terms do not allow, send us the details; we investigate and tell you what we found. We keep a record of each request and of when the stop took effect, and we do not resume without your agreement.
3. Corrections to a product page
If a LaunchFaro page about a product has a factual error, use the correction form on that page or write to [to be completed: operator.supportEmail]. We review it and publish a visible correction when you are right.
4. Copyright and other notices
For a notice about content on our own pages, write to [to be completed: operator.legalEmail] with the address of the page, what is wrong and your contact details. [The lawyer must confirm the notice-and-action wording that applies.]
